Matcha Mama is an eccentric cafe in the heart of Amsterdam, Netherlands, with a focus on their world-famous gourmet iced matcha lattes. Below is the branding that I conceptualized for them. The typefaces and vibrant colors keep a whimsical/friendly quality that the shop wants customers to feel when interacting with their brand.

Since the essence of the brand is quite playful and whimsical, I wanted to reflect this in the logo design. I picked a typeface that already had some boldness to it, and used the pen + direct selection tool to modify it to my liking. There are two versions - stacked & unstacked. The unstacked version is for better legibility on printed products, i.e. the menu.
